An experienced commercial property lawyer has joined the Huddersfield office of Ison Harrison, bolstering the team and bringing specialist commercial property expertise to the region.
Rachel Warsop, a partner with the Leeds-headquartered law firm has joined the Huddersfield office from Castleford, strengthening the team to eight. She has 20 years’ experience of commercial and residential property matters.
Rachel originally joined the Castleford branch of Maurice Smiths solicitors, (which merged with Ison Harrison in 2015) as an assistant solicitor in 1999 and became a partner in 2006. Rachel’s professional focus has primarily been commercial and residential property but she is also expert in the field of wills and probate.
Ison Harrison opened the Huddersfield office in January of this year. The office is the newest in Ison Harrison’s existing network of twelve branches across Leeds and West Yorkshire.
Rachel brings a wealth of commercial property experience to the team and will work closely with Ison Harrison’s Head of residential conveyancing and remortgage, James Smith, who also heads up the Huddersfield office on John William Street.

Rachel lives on the outskirts of Huddersfield with her husband Simon and two daughters and is a black belt in karate. She is also a member of Denby Dale Athletics Club and participates in many local running events including the Huddersfield 10k and the West Yorkshire Cross Country League.
