Oddfellows On the Park appoints Perception to launch and represent the hotel to UK events market

Oddfellows On the Park has appointed Cheshire based representation company, Perception Sales & Marketing, to head up a sales campaign for the recently launched hotel.
Oddfellows On the Park is the newest member of the Oddfellow’s family. The hotel is set within a beautiful Victorian mansion house and includes 22 stunning bedrooms, a destination restaurant, cocktail bar, flexible event spaces for up to 80 people and a statement ‘salon de beaute’ fondly named The Pigsty.

Located in 120 acres of mature parkland in Bruntwood Park, Cheadle, Cheshire, Oddfellows On the Park is less than 15 minutes by car to Manchester Airport and under 10 miles to Manchester city centre. The launch is the culmination of a fifteen-month careful restoration that has transformed the beautiful Victorian mansion, Bruntwood Hall.

The Parlor Bar and Parlor Rooms are flexible event spaces and accommodate up to 80 guests with views of the park and direct access to the terrace. These rooms are ideal for small intimate dinners and product launches, meetings and seminars. The hotel will also accommodate exclusive use events.

Samantha Ratcliffe of Oddfellows Hotels said: ‘’We are delighted to have appointed Perception. They understand the luxury travel, meetings and events market inside out and deliver sales representation in a manner that harmonises brilliantly with the way we like to do things at Oddfellows – using a pro-active approach with a passion for people and a guarantee of delivering the best for our clients’.

Cath Couzens, Director of Perception said: ‘The hotel is stunning and has been restored with incredible care and dedication. Oddfellows On the Park provides distinctive and stylish event spaces in south Manchester, it’s easily accessible, yet private and secluded with plenty of green space.’

Oddfellows On the Park is the sister hotel to Oddfellows, Chester. It is the only hotel in the UK outside of London to be welcomed into the global Design Hotels™ consortium, and sits alongside hotels like Soho Hotel in London and Gramercy Park Hotel in New York.

Designed by Tim Groom Architects, with interiors by SpaceInvader, both Manchester based firms, guests will enjoy interesting design pieces throughout – like the bike chain chandelier that is inspired by the Bruntwood Park BMX track and lights up the grand staircase.

Major who was the second owner of the hall and who extended it to the grand mansion it is today. Bruntwood Park was run as a private equestrian stud and The Galloping Major was most often found astride a horse with his magnificent handlebar moustache! The Galloping Major is headed up by chef Ian Moss, who joins the hotel from Ribble Valley Inns and Northcote. Ian has also previously worked under the tutelage of Marcus Wareing at Petrus and Brett Graham at The Ledbury.
