Yorkshire recruiter continues rapid expansion plans

Affecto recruitment has made the latest in a string of appointments to help address the growing demand for tech specialists in the Sheffield digital sector.

Amber Peacock joins the tech recruitment firm as Software, Architecture and Development Specialist following a recent business restructure which saw Mark Reed promoted to Business Manager and the appointment of Recruitment Consultant Sophie Chapman-Dempster.

As a specialist, she will be responsible for sourcing the top talent for the engineering and technical architecture industries.
Amber joins the firm fresh off the back of a year as a consultant at Franklin Bates in London, making the move ‘up North’ for a chance to work in a growing industry and tackle new challenges in an expanding technology market.

Amber said: “The technology industry is booming in Sheffield. After a year working in London, I’m keen to bring my expertise to a new area and help local businesses find the highly-skilled candidates they need.”
Affecto recruitment MD Daniel Koseoglu said: “We’re delighted to welcome Amber to the Affecto team. As Software, Architecture and Development Specialist

“We are dedicated to driving demand for specialised individuals in the tech and digital areas. With the appointment of Amber, we are able to offer an even wider range of solutions to local businesses in need of highly-skilled candidates.”

Affecto aims to double its consultant team in the coming months as part of an aggressive growth plan which has seen it more than quadruple its headcount since moving to new premises in Kelham Island’s Neepsend Business Centre last year.
