£1.2m show home hosts event to help house hunters create their own dream design

Poppy Cottage

One of the region’s most expensive show homes is hosting a unique open afternoon to showcase the benefits of self and custom build properties.

Developments by Joseph Homes’ £1.2m show home Poppy Cottage, set within the exclusive estate of Wynyard Park, will open its doors for the special event on Saturday, April 27 between 12pm and 4pm.

Matt Johnson, Wynyard Park Development Director, said: “We’re opening the doors of the beautiful Poppy Cottage for an exclusive event to show the public the benefits of both self build and custom built homes.

“Experts will be available throughout the day to talk you through how accessible self and custom builds are and the processes involved to achieve a build of this kind.”

Developments by Joseph Homes offers a selection of designs for customers to choose from or will work with purchasers to produce bespoke designs to create the home of their dreams within their budget.

The purchaser has the opportunity to make individual changes to match their particular requirements, whilst Developments by Joseph Homes project manages the custom build on behalf of the customer.

Experts can help those attending the event on the full self build and custom build journey – from finance to finishing interior touches.

Attending the event will be representatives from Build Store, experts in self and custom build mortgages, who will offer financial advice to prospective home builders.

Developments by Joseph Homes’ in-house architect will be there for one on one consultations as well as MKM Building Supplies who can discuss the materials needed for each stage of the build process.

Specialist kitchen supply company Nixons, which has more than 40 years of experience in kitchen design and manufacturing, will be in attendance.

Finally, JDM Earth will provide advice about smart home equipment  and Brass & Rose will discuss luxury interiors.

Matt added: “Every expert gathered at the event has been chosen to offer guests comprehensive information needed to begin their own self or custom build journey.”

Poppy Cottage hit headlines recently for its opulence, the four-bed detached executive-style property boasting a sleek interior design scheme with an array of modern touches, oozing luxury living across its 3,638sq. ft.

Attendees have the opportunity to win a luxury Fortnum & Mason hamper if they RSVP to the event.
