Adventure Dock surprise their 15,000th customer with a day to remember

A lucky couple received a day to remember at The Adventure Dock Co, after becoming the attraction’s 15,000th customer of the summer.

Siofra McKeon-Carter and Sam Erksine from Toxteth were treated to complimentary tickets to the 92-metre inflatable water course; plus a special Adventure Dock goody-bag, to mark the milestone.

The new Royal Albert Dock Liverpool attraction has been a huge hit with fun-seekers young and old since opening back in May, and the team are well on their way to smashing their six-figure target by the final session on October 28.

Tim Woodhead, creator of The Adventure Dock, said:

“The team have worked so hard over the last few months to offer something truly special on Liverpool’s UNESCO World Heritage waterfront, and it is such reward to see so many smiling and laughing people enjoying the water. Of course, the record temperatures and days of sunshine we experienced in the country, and the fantastic programme of events put on by Royal Albert Dock Liverpool and Culture Liverpool, had a massive impact on us.

“Since our opening weekend, the volume of people visiting Adventure Dock has been incredible and we thought it was the perfect time to recognise this and say thank you.”

Prize winner, Siofra McKeon-Carter said:

“I booked this as surprise for Sam for a fun day out. I was so excited when we found out that we have won the prize. Best date ever!”

With just over six weeks left and the summer holidays now over, Adventure Dock are introducing a number of exciting new offers and sessions, to ensure that businesses, children and adults alike don’t miss the chance to race, slip and slide on the one of a kind course while it is still here.

Corporate groups now also have the perfect opportunity to book out the course, with private hire rates a three quarter of the full price in September and half price in October.

As well as being ideal for adults looking to un-wind after a long day in the office and for children with energy to burn, Adventure Dock is also an autism-friendly attraction. Local autism ambassador and wake-boarding icon in the region, Mikey Pinder, will be at the attraction every Wednesday from 12.30 – 1.30pm to host new inclusive sessions, with tickets priced at £20 with carers going on for free.
