Anwyl Partnerships submit plans for latest residential scheme in Wirral

Anwyl Partnerships submits plans for its latest development off Greenheys Road, Wallasey, Wirral.

Anwyl Partnerships, specialists in the provision of affordable housing, extra care and land and build development, is partnering with a local housing association to deliver the development, which will include 53 affordable modern retirement living apartments, set within extensive landscaped grounds and private gardens.

Sam Oliver, Senior Land Manager at Anwyl Partnerships explained: “It’s great to be involved in the redevelopment of a prominent brownfield site so close to the heart of Wallasey, where the former and vacant NHS care home buildings will make way for 53 affordable modern fit for purpose retirement living apartments.

“There is a clear identified need for this type of accommodation in Wallasey and once constructed it will free up existing affordable family housing stock as new residents move in from the local area. All of the apartments will be affordable and prioritised for local people and be delivered in conjunction with our housing association partner.

“This development forms part of the company’s wider strategic direction and commitment in delivering land led partnership projects with our housing association partners in England and Wales. We continue to work with the Council to deliver an exception scheme and plan to be on site summer 2020’’.

Anwyl Partnerships is already on site at Pensby, Wirral where a 21-apartment high quality extra care project is being developed for Magenta Living. This scheme is due for completion in early 2020.
