Driving the female tech agenda, influential female business leaders from across the North of England will gather at the headquarters of aql next month for a day of inspiration, innovation and storytelling aimed at showcasing role models and best practice.

NPW Live, organised by Northern Power Women, led by the inspirational Simone Roche, will be hosted at aql’s iconic city centre HQ, the restored Grade II listed Salem Chapel, on Thursday 6 July.

aql chief operating officer Sarah Tulip will deliver the event’s opening remarks, after having been named this year on the Northern Power Women’s Future List.

Northern Power Women is a collaborative campaign that aims to accelerate gender diversity from the North of England.

It encourages the transformation of business culture to increase opportunities for women in business and showcase role models and best practice businesses that are driving and leading economic growth.

Alongside the talks, NPW Live will provide an opportunity for networking with like-minded professionals across industries including media, sport, healthcare, banking and more.

NPW founder Simone Roche said: “The event is a combination of brilliant speakers and an inspiring networking opportunity, at the most brilliant venue in Leeds on 6 July.

“It’s a programme of live speakers, talking about things that will interest or excite, and conversations which you can take part in and meet new people, share your own ideas, ask for help or suggestions, and make connections that will help you in your personal or professional life.”

Sarah was recently named on Northern Power Women’s Future List, which recognises the influencers and change makers of the future who are already making a difference to their environments and communities.
