The Under 11s team at Prescot-based Barca Berkley Football Club has scored with new kits from leading housebuilder Anwyl Homes Lancashire.
With Carr’s Rise, its flagship residential development of 119 high quality new build homes located just over the road from the boys’ ground at Browns Field in Prescot, the housebuilder was pleased to lend its support to the team and cover the cost of 13 new kits to replace ones that have been outgrown.
Featuring the Anwyl Homes logo on the front, the distinctive long sleeved green and white striped tops and white shorts will ensure that the boys look great while training and create a good impression for the Club when playing away games.
A thriving junior football club, Barca Berkley has eight teams that train and play at Browns Field with matches held every Saturday. A key part of the local community, the Club is run by volunteers and relies on the generosity of local businesses and fundraising by parents to ensure the players have everything that they need for their weekly training sessions and competitive matches.
Coach, Ian Leadbetter, commented: “We are extremely grateful to Anwyl Homes for providing the new kits; it has given the boys a real boost as they are currently playing really well. We will be wearing them with pride for training and as we travel around Knowsley and the wider region for our matches.”
