Barratt Manchester Swings In To Action For Francis House

Barratt Homes Manchester hosted a charity Golf Day and Sportsman’s Dinner recently in aid of Francis House, the company’s chosen charity of the year.

96 golfers swung into action on the 18 hole golf course at Mere Golf and Country Club, with a total of 150 guests attending the evening dinner. The dinner was hosted by Karl Kirkpatrick the former Super League Referee, from Stockton on Heath.

Karl was joined by Britain’s Got Talent comedian and impersonator, Les Gibson from Liverpool.
Sub-contractors, business partners and work colleagues contributed towards an impressive total of £26,419.40 which was presented by Barratt Homes Finance Director Mike Cleary and Commercial Manager Matt Paul to Chief Executive of Francis House, Reverend David Ireland, alongside Fund Raising Manager Peter Forster.

The charity golf day was just one of the many activities that have been undertaken by Barratt Manchester employees to raise money for Francis House. Over the course of the year, Barratt Manchester have had their annual bottle raffle and played football cards to fundraise for the charity.

Neil Goodwin, Managing Director at Barratt Manchester said, “We are very happy to be able to have run this fantastic event in aid of Francis House. The work and support they provide in the local community is so important, and we are proud to support them for the 2nd consecutive year.”
