Bellway to build 94 new homes in West Lancashire

Bellway Homes is pleased to confirm that it has acquired 11 acres of land in Lathom, West Lancashire, for a brand new residential development.

The award-winning and HBF five star rated housebuilder will transform the site, which is just a few miles from Ormskirk, building a total of 94 high quality properties.

The new development, known as Lathom Pastures, will offer potential purchasers a mix of three and four bedroom detached homes.

Jenny Bell, Sales Director at Bellway Homes, comments: “The plans for Lathom Pastures are stunning. We will be building a superb selection of stylish three and four bedroom homes which will create an elegant street scene and appeal to discerning buyers in the locality.

“Well located in a highly desirable residential area just over three miles from Ormskirk, which offers an array of everyday amenities and leisure facilities as well as excellent transport links, we are confident Lathom Pastures will be a popular development for those looking for an attractive, high quality, low maintenance home.”

All of the properties at Lathom Pastures have been designed with modern lifestyles in mind, featuring well-planned floor layouts that maximise the light and space available. The houses will also benefit from open-plan kitchen/diners with integrated appliances, contemporary family bathrooms, en suite shower facilities to the master bedrooms, plus garages or allocated off-road parking.

Reflecting its commitment to the local area, Bellway Homes will also make several significant financial contributions that will be of direct benefit to the local community.

The sum of £50,000 will be contributed towards the Ormskirk to Skelmersdale Linear Park and more than £1 million will be paid towards the Community Infrastructure Levy. Bellway Homes will also provide 12 affordable homes.

Construction at Lathom Pastures will commence early next year.

Jenny concludes: “With build expected to start early 2018, we are very much looking forward to the development taking shape in the coming 12 months and are encouraging potential purchasers to register their interest now.”

Lathom Pastures is situated in the village of Lathom, just a few miles from Skelmersdale and Ormskirk, and only a short drive from the M58 and M6 motorways. Ormskirk Train Station is close by too. The development benefits from a host of local amenities and leisure facilities, plus a great range of schools and colleges.
