Bellway confirms 99 new homes in Leigh

Bellway Homes has acquired more than seven acres of land in Leigh for a new residential development.

Located between Corner Lane and Tiverton Avenue, the new development will comprise a total of 99 high quality new build homes, incorporating a range of three bedroom semi-detached houses plus three and four bedroom detached properties.

Known as Kingswood Park, the new development will be Bellway’s third scheme in the region, situated five miles away from Pocket Green in Lowton and only two miles from Summerhill Park in Atherton.

Set within an already established residential area, Kingswood Park will appeal to first-time-buyers, families and those looking to downsize.

The development is close to the A580 East Lancashire Road which links to Manchester and Liverpool, making it ideal for commuters, and the nearby towns of Hindley, Atherton and Leigh are easily accessible with an array of local amenities and popular retail outlets.

Louise Chamberlain, sales director at Bellway Homes, comments: “We are thrilled to announce our plans to build 99 three and four bedroom properties at Kingswood Park in Leigh. This latest land acquisition further enhances our presence in the area.”

In addition to the new residential development, Bellway Homes will make a significant financial contribution to the local community, including funding towards affordable housing, open space and a contribution to the local highways.

Work on the roads and sewers have already commenced, with a sales launch expected in the summer. The opening of the three bedroom Cherry showhome and four bedroom Oakwood showhome will follow later this year.
