Danny McCarron, from Sale, has received a prestigious National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job award.
Danny, who started at Bellway as a joiner 25 years ago and has progressed to senior site manager, has previously won the award three times in recent years.
Based at Bellway’s sought-after Heatherley Wood development at Alderley Park, Danny is delighted to have the award for the second consecutive year.
He says: “I am thrilled with my Pride in the Job award. It is a real achievement to win the award back to back as it highlights consistency and reaffirms my continued commitment to delivering excellence on site.
The NHBC Pride in the Job award, which has been established for over 40 years, recognises and rewards the industry’s very best performers and is an accolade that site managers aspire to achieve.
To receive an award, site managers must score highly in all areas of build and site management including quality of workmanship, technical expertise, health and safety and leadership. Judges are looking for meticulous attention to detail and the special qualities and attributes that set quality award winning site managers apart from the rest.
Danny continues: “Heatherley Wood is a stunning, high end development and the properties are bespoke, so working towards this award was particularly demanding. I was fully supported by the whole Heatherley Wood team, including my assistant site manager Anthony Preece, which made all the difference.
“Without doubt I am very proud to have won this award for the second consecutive year on two different sites with two different teams.”
Construction director at Bellway, Paul Wright, adds: “Danny always works hard and diligently, and we are so proud he is once again a Pride in the Job winner. He has done an incredible job at Heatherley Wood, our flagship development in Cheshire, and this award is testament to his experience, exceptional skill set and leadership.”
