Dronfield-based independent financial planners, Belmayne, are offering their support to local businesses and individuals struggling with issues arising from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Chartered advisers are inviting the town’s residents to use them as sounding boards if they have financial concerns resulting from a loss of income or change in circumstances.
Belmayne’s partners will hold telephone or video conferences with anyone wanting to discuss their financial wellbeing, following the success of a similar initiative run to mark Financial Planning Week at the beginning of this month.
David Bashforth, a partner at Belmayne, said: “I was recently involved in a meeting with representatives from Dronfield town council and our MP, at which business owners could raise their concerns as the pandemic continues to bite. After listening to the issues raised, my colleagues and I wanted to reach out to the local community and help them if we can. We see this as an extension to the free weekly drop-in sessions we were running prior to lockdown.”
Belmayne is inviting local people to call or email the firm with their questions about financial issues and its partners will help them work out the best way forward.
