Yorkshire Packaging are pleased to announce the appointment of their new Sales Manager, Beth Harold.
Following several years of continued growth, YPS decided to recruit a new shrink film representative, to ensure that they could continue to offer the outstanding service to their customers that they are known for. After thoroughly impressing YPS with her enthusiasm and work ethic at interview, Beth was selected to join the shrink film division in July, alongside accomplished shrink film experts Josh Gibson and Bill Bruce.
Freshly graduated from her LLB, LPC and Masters course in Law at Northumbria University, Beth is very excited to have begun a rewarding career providing shrink wrap solutions to businesses across the UK. Despite her somewhat specialised degree, Beth felt well suited to the new role at YPS because it involves meeting diverse people from a wide range of companies and appeals to her passion for problem solving! Beth says: ‘I’m most excited about meeting our customers and seeing all the factories they run – I find it so interesting to see how things work!’
In only a few short months, Beth has acquired a wealth of technical knowledge and is visiting customers up and down the UK to assist with their shrink wrapping operations. Beth also joined the company on their stand at the PPMA packaging exhibition in September and is now busy following up a raft of shrink film leads she acquired as a result.
Of course, Beth’s appointment is especially of significance because packaging is often regarded as a male dominated industry. Despite these perceptions, YPS report that adding Beth to their team of sales representatives has created a wonderful dynamic at YPS HQ and her arrival has been warmly received by all of their customers.
