The popular, well loved ‘Bishy Road’ in York is about to welcome a brand-new resident this June by way of Walter and May, the British-made Lifestyle Gift company.
The move comes one year after trading online and having built the brand in to a successful business. Founder Beth Elsdon spotted a requirement to provide British designers and gift makers with an online platform which supported them in every which way from the marketing to selling of their products.
Walter and May is set to bring a fresh and personal approach to customers and the move to a shop will lend itself beautifully to this core value of Beth’s.
“I am so excited to be launching a Walter and May presence on the high street, which can support my online business too. Bishopthorpe Road is a beautiful area with a real community buzz and I think the shop will be a refreshing addition for both locals and tourists.”
At the heart of the business is owner Beth and her belief and passion and for the individual businesses she represents, allowing them to shine within her umbrella brand.
The shop promises personable great service and will showcase some of the UK’s most talented designs from design led home wares to handmade silver jewellery.
