The Botanist launches an all new Sunday roast

National food and drink chain, The Botanist, has launched an all-new traditional Sunday Roast menu; the perfect weekend fix as the weather begins to cool.

The Sunday Roast is both a British classic and a long-standing family tradition. For the occasion, The Botanist has handpicked a seasonal selection of British fare from fields and farms across the country, perfected by the pub-chain’s in-house experts.

A selection of rotisserie-roasted mains, from outdoor-reared slow roasted pork belly to premium English beef to vegetarian mushroom, red lentil, stilton and chestnut roast are served up with all the trimmings: honey-glazed veg, roast potatoes, and of course, the classic Yorkshire pudding.

A trio of botanical Bloody Mary cocktails have also been created as the perfect accompaniment to a Sunday Roast. Whether imbibed as a cure or a cocktail of choice, choose from smoked garlic & rosemary, red chilli & oregano or your classic Mary.

For those who really want to indulge, a sharing portion of toffee apple, pear and almond crumble is a sweet treat that rounds off the menu perfectly.

Jodie Osakwe, General Manager at The Botanist Sheffield said: “Our new Sunday menu brings together classic British fare and a Botanist twist. Fresh produce and lots of flavour were the key when creating the menu.

“With five roast options with all the trimmings, to four additional sides, there’s plenty to suit everyone and leave you spoilt for choice. We can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon.”

The new Sunday menu will sit alongside The Botanist’s main menu of marvellous delights inspired by the deli, rotisserie and BBQ.

New for Autumn, The Botanist has also launched a delectable weekday lunch menu. Choose from a selection of homemade sandwiches or hearty salads and pair with a range of sides from soups and seasoned fries to smaller salads.
