A Huddersfield-based branding and design agency has accelerated its ambitious expansion plans with the relocation to new, vibrant premises and the appointment of an account handler.
Aye! Agency has taken up office space at Brook’s Yard in a bid to secure 25% growth over the next 12 months. The firm had previously been located at The Media Centre since its launch in 2014.
The move coincides with an account handler joining the team, which, along with the appointment of a designer back in June, has collectively taken the agency’s headcount to five. The growth in staff numbers was propelled by a string of client wins, including a rebrand for Scotland’s largest independent welfare hire specialist, Loc Hire, and ongoing design work for mobile tower light manufacturer, Heimdall.
Oli Smith, director of Aye! Agency, said: “Our new home at Brook’s Yard has been a few months in the making. After three brilliant years at The Media Centre, it was the right time for us to carve our own space as we set our sights on expansion.
“The extra room gives us the flexibility to add more team members, and we now have a break-out area where we can all think, draw, brainstorm, debate — whatever we feel like. Our new office definitely personifies us as a business, as it’s packed with character — think exposed beams and stone walls. We love it!”
Recently completed projects for Aye! Agency include building the brand identity for consumer car specialist The Car Spot and not-for-profit organisation Huddersfield Live.
Oli added: “As we grow and take on new projects, we want all clients — both new and old — to be happy with our level of service. So the appointment of Will, our new account handler, was part of a strategic move to maintain 100% satisfaction.
“He will also free up time for our designers, allowing them to really get their teeth stuck into the creative side of our work. It’s a very exciting time for us and we can’t wait to see what the next 12 months bring!”
