Bubbles and beer at Old School Brewery

Micro Maniacs visit to Old School Brewery Warton as part of the 30th Annual Northern Microcar Rally.

On Friday 07th June 15 pint-sized cars descended on Old School Brewery Warton, as part of the 30th Annual Northern Microcar Rally.

Club members from the Micro Maniacs made their way north to Warton as part of a run out, stopping off along the way to discover the secrets behind Old School Brewery’s award-winning ales for themselves.

The Micro Maniacs took the opportunity to take a peek behind the scenes at the brewery and to experience the passion that underpins the craft beers the team create. During the tour, head brewer, Garth, showed off some of the ingredients he uses, walked through the brewing process and talked about how he brews OSB’s award-winning beers. Before finishing off the tour with a visit to OSB’s tasting room where the Micro Maniacs had the chance to sample and compare notes on some of Garth’s award-winning craft brews.

At Old School Brewery we’re totally passionate about what we do and how we do it. We can arrange tours for groups of 20 or more by prior arrangement. Our tour guide will explain just how our beers are made, giving you an in-depth insight into our brewing process, and if you’re lucky our head brewer Garth might even share a few tricks of the trade secrets for making great beers.

The brewery tour takes roughly 30 minutes and finishes with a tasting of 3 thirds of selected Old School Brewery beers (for over 18’s only).

Tour tickets are priced at £20, which includes a souvenir pack containing 2 bottled beers and an OSB pint glass (for over 18’s only).
