Business Growth Hub, part of the Manchester Growth Company, has appointed Peter Gaunt as its new relationship manager to connect Greater Manchester SMEs to one another and encourage collaboration across its network of over 170 organisations.
Peter will lead the development of the Hub’s partner offer and long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders. These include Greater Manchester’s 10 local authorities, national partners such as the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), Innovate UK and the Department for International Trade (DIT), and suppliers drawn from private businesses, such as UK Fast, The Landing, and the public sector.
The Hub’s network of partners has continued to grow since it was formed in 2011. Each provides essential expertise to complement the Hub’s services and contributes to the organisation’s role of supporting individual businesses and growing the city region’s economy.
The Hub works with this extensive network of public and private partners, andestablished businesses that make up the city region’s commercial fabric, toactively support enterprises to overcome barriers to growth and exploit Greater Manchester’s business and academic expertise.
He joins the Hub from Innovas, where he was Director for Training and Development. Prior to that, Peter was Head of Training and Senior Consultant at Winning Pitch.
