Leeds based marketing agency, Punch Creative, and Yorkshire social publishing business, i-Yorkshire have announced their first client win together; taking on UK-wide seafood brand, Whitby Seafoods.
Founded back in 1985 by Graham Whittle, Whitby Seafoods is proud to be the home of scampi, and to this day reside and manufacture their product range in the seaside town of Whitby. Its products can be found on the shelves of Sainsbury’s, Asda and Tesco in both chilled and frozen aisles, and include; Whitby Calamari, Whitby Jumbo Scampi, Whitby Whitebait, amongst others.
The Whitby-based brand has enlisted the help of both companies to support them with their social media and PR activity, to boost brand awareness and reach new audiences.
This win comes just a couple of months after Punch and i-Yorkshire announced its partnership, as they looked to benefit other Yorkshire-based businesses. The aim of the coalition is to create engaging content for local brands and distribute this in a way in which enables them to reach a completely new audience.
Louise Wright Commercial Director at Punch Creative said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be working alongside Whitby Seafoods to help boost their brand awareness and presence within key target markets. As a brand, Whitby Seafoods have a well-established profile and we can’t wait to start delivering strategic campaigns for them.”
Sophie Pogson, Marketing Manager at Whitby Seafoods said: “It’s always hard to find a creative agency who ‘get’ you, but the fit between Punch and Whitby Seafoods just seemed natural. The partnership with i-Yorkshire will no doubt help boost our brand exposure even further and will combine great content with a publishing route we haven’t used before. We couldn’t be happier about the three Yorkshire companies working together.”
