CBRE’s Second Cycle Series North Steps Up A Gear

The second CBRE Cycle Series North took place recently at the Broughton Hall Estate in Skipton, Yorkshire. The event saw more than 180 cyclists representing companies from across the property industry in the North West and Yorkshire ride either 50K or 100K through the Yorkshire Dales, raising thousands of pounds in aid of Action for Children.

Property professionals from CBRE’s Northern offices in Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds took part in support of disadvantaged young people across the UK.

CBRE signed a two-year partnership with Action for Children last year and the charity welcomed a cash injection of more than £11,500 from the inaugural North cycle event in 2018, which is vital in helping to build safe and loving homes for more than 700 children in care and to support foster parents. The real estate company has added further to the charity’s coffers with another successful Northern cycling event.

John Ogden, MD, CBRE Manchester said:

“Our second Cycle Series North was a fantastic event and we are delighted to see even more cyclists from the property world taking part this year for this very worthy charity to help vulnerable and disadvantaged young people and families across the UK. Once again, it proved to be an excellent platform to further build relationships with our client base and participating industry colleagues.

“We had a fantastic turnout. Thanks to our colleagues and everyone from the industry who took the time to get involved in the day and a special thank you to our sponsors and supporters who helped to make the event the success it was.”
