Boston Spa-based Deans Computer Services (DCS) has launched a new cloud timesheet software package which brings enhanced levels of speed, efficiency and functionality to financial management.
Completed after eight months of development and testing by the company’s dedicated software team, DCS TAPE combines data recording for Time, Absences, Projects and Expenses within one fully-integrated and user-friendly platform. Unlike rival applications on the market, the product allows financial departments to enter both chargeable and non-chargeable time within project records as well as post multiple timesheet lines to the same job on the same day.
DCS TAPE also provides the option to manage access to project records, with posting limited to designated employees only, and simultaneously combine both mileage and journey time within travelling expenses data. Its development was led by Richard Foulds, Development Director at DCS, following research into the capabilities of existing products on the market. Richard has previously been involved in designing and developing time recording applications for one of the UK’s largest accounting firms and he joined DCS in October 2017 as part of a merger with Harrogate-based Leckhampton Computers.

The software is now available as an on premise installation or as an on line subscription service from as little as £4 per user per month.
