Commerz Real, German Commerzbank’s investment manager for real assets, has appointed commercial property specialists Matthews & Goodman to manage its UK office and hotel property portfolio, which comprises assets in London (including Paternoster Square and 180 Great Portland Street) and Liverpool.
Led by Matthews & Goodman partner Nigel Watson, the team will be responsible for property management, as well as all service charge accounting functions. The contract will commence in January 2019.
Commenting on the appointment, Thomas Longerich, head of Commerz Real’s London branch, said “Our brief was simple. We wanted to appoint a company to manage our office and hotel properties efficiently and ensure that our tenants will have an excellent occupier experience.”
