Health and safety expert, Arco, has today announced its recent success during this year’s Northumbrian Water Supplier Recognition Programme after it was presented with two awards; Responsible Procurement Approach and Overall Supplier of the Year.
The Northumbrian Water Supplier Recognition Programme, hosted by the Northumbrian Water Group (NWG), aims to recognise and reward suppliers that are continuously driven to provide both an outstanding service and supply ethically procured goods.
As Arco is committed to not only offering a high quality service, but to also ensure its own supply chain and practices are inline with the Ethical Trading Initiative Base Code, winning the Responsible Procurement Approach award was a triumph for the Hull-based family business. The tough criteria at this year’s awards required the winner to have a responsible procurement culture embedded throughout the company and excellent supply chain communications to ensure the high standards are translated throughout.
Arco was also awarded the Supplier of the Year award, showcasing its dedication to providing award-winning products, services and working practices.
