E2E Technologies expansion signals route for change in IT

IT is a sector that offers a wide spectrum of skill and industry knowledge. There are players and there are those who know what they’re doing! But even the most competent IT business can no longer rely on technical skill to be successful. In fact, it’s now far more a people business than it has ever been before.

We established E2E Technologies in Upton, Wirral in 2012 to disrupt the industry. We knew that there was a damaging level of complacency from IT companies that were producing poor service and scant communication with clients. IT was stereotyped as boring, expensive and unresponsive. We wanted to change all of that and offer a refreshing, client-driven service.

The response to E2E Technologies as disrupters in the seemingly dull sector of IT proved that there was a need for change within the industry. Our expansion into offices in Liverpool in 2020 and Chester in 2021 proved there was a significant demand for our refreshing approach to IT services. The business initially serviced Wirral and Liverpool City Centre, but we can now quickly reach areas such as Widnes, Runcorn, Warrington, Chester, Deeside, North Wales, Crewe and many others.

That said, due to our cutting-edge monitoring technology and software, we’re able to detect and fix most problems without ever visiting site. This allows us to be truly responsive which minimises downtime and the impact of IT repairs and maintenance on the company, its teams and productivity. However, if we do need to visit site to perhaps replace a faulty component or install new equipment, the expansion into Liverpool and Chester means that we can visit more businesses within the same timescales afforded to our Wirral clients.


With advances in cutting-edge technology, our most valuable service is now managed IT support. This is a lifeline for businesses that can’t justify the cost of an inhouse team but need the assurance that any IT issues will be addressed quickly to mitigate losses in production and profits. For a fixed monthly fee our clients with a managed IT support package know they are covered should problems arise, and we can be proactive rather than reactive with our maintenance and other services.

For me and the management team, the focus has to be on offering a proactive service through managed IT. We want our clients to perceive E2E Technologies as an extension of their own company even though they won’t see us on site very often! Managed IT builds trust as we respond quickly and efficiently to any problems that arise. We can also maintain systems and provide expert and strategic advice around getting the most from an IT system, with carefully planned upscaling when necessary.

Despite the Wirral, Liverpool and Chester areas being saturated with IT companies and practitioners, businesses are resonating with our proactive approach and we’re enjoying our ever-increasing market share.

Our Liverpool office is located in Hurricane Court in Speke, just 7 miles from the M57 and M62 motorways. This gives us great accessibility to surrounding areas. We can reach businesses in Liverpool city centre within 20 to 30 minutes, and Warrington and St Helen’s in around half an hour.

In Chester, we are located at The Purple Office in Tattenhall which is conveniently situated between the A41 and A49 giving us access to Cheshire, Crewe and North Wales within half an hour. With continued success, further expansion of our unique approach to non-boring IT could be on the horizon!
