An award-winning Yorkshire-based design and build company has recently acquired a brand-new direction with the appointment of Amy Revell into the position of Sales Director at Absolute Commercial Interiors.
Alongside the appointment of Amy and this exciting company development, Absolute have also acquired three further members to their team with the recruitment of Andy Baker, who is heading up the commercial division of the interior design and build firm, Safiya Shaikh as the new Marketing Assistant, and Nikou Carey as Junior Interior Designer.
Amy joins the Absolute team with valuable commercial interiors experience and a fresh outlook on the design and build of inspirational spaces. Amy’s client-focused approach is already aiding Absolute in delivering their trademark and quality services to workspaces, leisure interiors, and hospitality interiors throughout the UK.
On her new appointment as Sales Director, Amy said: “I’m thrilled to join Absolute, a passionate company sharing the same ambitious growth plans as I have for myself. I have a great deal of experience in commercial interior design and build which, when paired with Absolute’s collaborative approach and great team, will help lead Absolute in their new direction.”
Andy Baker, Absolute’s latest addition to the team, has joined Absolute as the new Senior Commercial Manager. Andy is heading up the procurement and pricing side of the business and brings 18 years’ worth of experience working on commercial interior projects.
Andy comments: “I have worked in the interior fit out and refurbishment industry for 18 years and still have the same drive and passion to be part of a tight knit team that produces stunning and unique working environments. Absolute Commercial Interiors are a company with the same drive & ambition to be the best in the industry, so it was an easy decision when asked to be part of the team.”
Safiya Shaikh joins Absolute Commercial Interiors as the new Marketing Assistant, expanding the current marketing team and bringing her marketing know-how to the role. Safiya previously worked for a marketing agency in Harrogate and has valuable experience in content writing, which will help to grow Absolute’s online presence and social media channels.
When asked about her new role, Safiya stated: “Absolute are amazing at what they do, and I feel proud to help showcase their reliable abilities online to aid them in attaining new clients and grow as a business. Nikou Carey has been appointed as Absolute’s new Junior Interior Designer and brings with her some valuable design experience, passion, and creative flair. Nikou has had her eyes on a role at Absolute since crossing paths with them a few years ago on one of the firms projects, and Absolute are thrilled to have been able to bring Nikou on board.
Nikou said: “With Absolute having a large proportion of office-based projects, I wanted to join the company and help spread the word of how important a great and inspiring environment is to everyone’s working life. With Absolute’s collaborative approach, there’s no better place for me to grow my design knowledge!”.
