Further expansion for leading Harrogate property firm

Leading estate agent Dacre, Son & Hartley has expanded its Harrogate team with the appointment of Lewis Gower, who has recently graduated from Newcastle University.

Lewis’s father works for a rural property agent and Lewis has always had a keen interest in property. Lewis grew up in York and lives in North Yorkshire. He joins as a trainee sales negotiator and will be based at the Albert Street office in central Harrogate with the team of eight sales and lettings professionals.

Lewis says: “Having completed my geography degree, I was keen to embark upon a career in property with a vibrant and competitive firm like Dacre, Son & Hartley in Harrogate, and I was particularly attracted to the numerous training opportunities that are available with the firm.”

Director Tim Waring says: “Marketing many of Harrogate’s finest homes alongside plenty of mid-market family properties and a wide range of homes in the surrounding villages, we have employed Lewis to support our experienced team, as they market and negotiate sales for our much-valued clients.”

Dacre, Son & Hartley’s head of residential, Patrick McCutcheon, adds: “Lewis is bright and enthusiastic, with a clear passion for property. We will help him develop the key skills needed to progress in the industry, and of course offer him the chance to undertake professional qualifications.”
