Wakefield-based Bagnall Hopkins is celebrating its tenth year in business.

Since its inception in 2007, the boutique recruitment firm company has successfully placed more than 2000 people into finance and commercial office roles in the area.

With 38 collective years’ experience in the recruitment sector, founders Kate Bagnall and Louise Hopkins established the business with a vision to provide an honest, consultative approach to staffing.

Having both undertaken senior management roles at international recruitment firm, Hays, Kate and Louise now head up Bagnall Hopkins, form their offices in central Wakefield.

Commenting on the ten-year anniversary, co-founder Kate Bagnall said:

“Setting up the business was a life changing decision for Louise and I. We finally decided to take the leap in November 2007 and we haven’t looked back since. We chose Wakefield as the perfect location for our business due to its growing business community, investment in local business parks and great transport links. We just knew we could make it work through our drive, determination and passion to provide a great service and build fantastic relationships with clients and candidates.”

Co-founder Louise Hopkins stated:

“We genuinely care about adding value for our client’s businesses. Despite setting up the business at the beginning of the economic down turn, we have continued to grow year-on-year and maintained healthy profits. By offering an honest, consultative approach with superior, consistent customer service, we think we’ve found the recipe for success. The future for Bagnall Hopkins looks very bright.”

The Bagnall Hopkins team recently grew to a team of six, with a 20% growth in finance recruitment in the last year and most recently the creation of a new procurement division which has already successfully placed 10 candidates since the beginning of January 2017 and is set to grow further. The business is looking to recruit a further three consultants and is looking to move premises in the next 12 months to accommodate their growing team in Wakefield.
