Founder of Durham’s Aztec Diamond Equestrian triumphs at Lloyds Bank National Business Awards 2019

Durham-based Jordan McCabe of Aztec Diamond Equestrian, an international equestrian fashion brand, has scooped the coveted New Entrepreneur of the Year award at the prestigious Lloyds Bank National Business Awards 2019.

At just 24 years old, founder Jordan McCabe pipped 10 other finalists at the winning post to take the i Newspaper New Entrepreneur of the Year award, which celebrates the potential that exists within leaders of the UK’s most promising start-ups and new SMEs.

Established in May 2014, Aztec Diamond Equestrian harnessed the judges attention because it clearly differentiated itself in the market by stretching equestrian apparel into a wider market. Eliminating high price points and actively engaging through digital channels, Aztec Diamond Equestrian has doubled revenue each year since launch through its affordable and technically performing clothing.
