In addition, Max Wayman (Corporate); Dominic Mantle (Corporate); Lucinda Ross (Family); Sarah Henderson (Commercial and IT); Joseph Williams (Private Client); and Bronwyn Wheeler (Employment) will be undertaking their second year of training.

Clarion also welcomes another six trainees to the initiative with Rana Akram (Banking and Finance), John-Joe Massey (Intellectual Property), Lucy Entwistle (Business Restructuring and Insolvency), Hannah Simpson (Commercial Dispute Resolution), Grace Parker (Property Litigation) and David Brown (Commercial Property) all embarking on their first year of training.

“Attracting and retaining the very best young talent remains a priority for us,” said Alice Pratt, partner, who is heading up the trainee programme at Clarion. “Every year we look for people with the values, life experience and potential to become great lawyers. In return for their energy and enthusiasm, we support their legal training and continue to nurture them as they progress their legal careers with us.

“Creating an environment where people enjoy coming to work is part of the Clarion culture and our high employee engagement rates, year after year, is a strong indication of our success. With our team constantly growing, it’s extremely satisfying to see so many new colleagues coming on board.”

The firm, based at its Elizabeth House offices on Queen Street in Leeds, now has a 225-strong team, including 25 partners.
