Going Green at Wakefield’s Nostell Estate

Nostell Estate Business Park, located 20 minutes from Wakefield and next door to National Trust Nostell Priory, has again demonstrated its commitment to The Year of Green Action.

Earlier this year Nostell Estate installed Electric Car Charging Points for tenants, and their visitors, to use. Now Nostell Estate has acquired two bikes that are available for tenants to borrow – whether that is for a quick trip to the shops, or to get some fresh air and exercise at lunchtime.

The bikes have been donated to the Estate by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority City Connect Scheme which aims to encourage more people to travel by bike by supporting improvements to sustainable and active travel.

Mark Ludiman from Nostell Estate commented: “It is our responsibility as landlord to the office tenants to provide them with green solutions. By offering appropriate facilities we can all contribute to making small changes that will benefit the environment”.
