HR Network puts focus on employment law changes

Keebles next monthly HR Network will focus on changes in employment law which came into effect from April 1.

The event on April 11 will explain new developments regarding statutory employment provisions which include employment compensation, statutory sick and maternity pay along with national minimum wage rates.

It will be jointly presented by employment law partner Catherine Wilson, senior associate Lauren Pickard and associate Charlotte Ollerenshaw.

Charlotte Ollerenshaw said: “April is a formative month in employment law which is further complicated by Brexit’s daily fluctuations and the potential employment changes it could bring for employers. The session will provide attendees with a comprehensive update and some predictions on what the future may hold in terms of employment and immigration law.”

The HR Networks are aimed at HR professionals, business owners and senior managers who manage a team or teams of people.

Previous sessions have included employment tax, improving decision making and managing sickness absence.

To book the April 11event at Commercial House, Commercial Street, Sheffield which runs from 9am-10.30am and includes networking and breakfast, contact Charlotte Ollerenshaw on 0114 290 6286.
