HR Software Show seminar to hone in on transformational change

Two colleagues from housing association Melin Homes will offer an unrivalled insight into their two-year journey to achieve greater agility in their constantly growing organisation. And the focal point of the session will be their use of the HR system, Cascade, during their significant transition.

Technology Manager Dave Evans and Assistant Director of Business Consultancy Sharon Crockett, will delve into the details of the project that went on to win The Chartered Institute for IT’s award for ‘Workplace Transformation Project of the Year’.

They’ll elaborate on the role that HR software played in supporting the 250-strong organisation with the transition to agile working, before highlighting the benefits for colleagues, customers and the company alike.

Commenting on the free seminar, Sharon explains: “We acknowledged from the outset that we were embarking on a challenging venture with limited resources. But we equally recognised that to operate as a truly modern organisation, we needed to embrace agile principles.

“Ours was therefore a meticulously planned project with HR technology a crucial enabler at the heart of the plan.”

The Melin Homes seminar will cover the benefits of agile working and the role that HR software can play during a transformational change such as this. Sharon and Dave will also advise what to look for in a vendor if agility is important, and the need for team involvement during the tender and implementation phase. The session will close by analysing how flexible working has been rolled out and managed as a result, and the extent to which HR software offers ongoing support in a workforce that continues to evolve.

“This presentation will be packed with practical tips that delegates can hopefully implement when they prepare for transformational change projects of their own,” summarises Sharon. “It is ideally suited for HR professionals who are committed to guiding their organisations through periods of ongoing development and improvement.”

‘Using HR software to achieve award-winning transformational change’ will take place on Thursday 15 June, the second day of the show, from 11:15-11:45. Entry into the Olympia London event is free, but pre-registration is recommended.

Cascade will have two stands at this year’s exhibition – H126 for the cloud-based Cascade Go solution for up to 100 employees, and H150 for the Cascade technology that supports businesses with up to tens of thousands of staff.
