Huddersfield accountancy firm hosts summer tennis event

A Huddersfield-based accountancy practice will host a tennis event for the local business community at Huddersfield Lawn Tennis and Squash Club on 30th August 2019.

Crowther Chartered Accountants will welcome more than 44 local professionals to enjoy a full day of sport, networking and refreshments. The event, which is now in its third year, is invitation only and will raise money for The Laura Crane Trust.
Tennis matches will take place throughout the day, with 22 pairs playing for twenty minutes, followed by twenty minutes rest. The winners of each match will then be grouped together to determine the overall winning pair of the day.

Other awards will be presented on the day, including overall winner, best player and best dressed. Refreshments will be provided by Asparagus Green Catering

Established in 1995, Crowther Chartered Accountants provides accountancy, taxation, audit, financial mentoring and bookkeeping support to clients across Yorkshire and the rest of the UK.

Commenting on the event, Crowther Chartered Accountant’s founder and managing director, Steve Crowther said:
“The event is such a great opportunity to show our appreciation to clients and friends, whilst enjoying the summer weather. We run a series of networking and training events throughout the year, but this one is particularly special to us, as it’s very relaxed and always extremely well received by attendees. We’re hoping this year will be just as successful as the last.”
