The Huddersfield & District Society of Chartered Accountants held their Annual Dinner on Thursday 21st March at the John Smith’s Stadium, Huddersfield.
The President of the Society, Peter Crowther of Peter Crowther & Co of Halifax, welcomed 230 guests to the dinner,the proceeds of which were donated to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Sir Patrick Stewart also welcomed guests to the dinner via a video message, whilst he was filming in Los Angeles.
The dinner celebrated the successful promotion of Huddersfield Town AFC to the Premiership and their commercial director, Sean Jarvis, was in attendance,holding a Question and Answers session for guests.
Table magicians entertained guest during dinner and after dinner entertainment was provided by local entertainer Craig Harper.
Manchester United,Manchester City,Huddersfield Town and Leeds United kindly donated signed shirts for the auction with local fashion designer Kevan Jon, Peter Crowther & Chartered Accountants, and Halifax restaurant Julio’s providing prizes for the raffle.
A total of over £9,500 was raised for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
