Huddersfield PR and communications agency, KC Communications, has welcomed two new members of staff as it sets out to increase turnover by 25% in the next 12-months.
Huddersfield University photography graduate, Hollie Thornton joins as Junior Account Executive and will undertake a digital marketing qualification with training partners, Estio, whereas Lana Eardley, who is currently studying Travel & Tourism Management, also with Huddersfield University, joins as part-time Admin & Finance Assistant following experience working as a travel firm Office Manager.
Hollie and Lana’s appointment follows a strong start to the current financial year which has seen the firm appointed by clients across the manufacturing, and education sectors including Specialist Glass Products and Coppice Valley Primary School which is part of the Red Kite Learning Trust.
Hollie’s role will see her supporting the client services team with their growing remit undertaking public relations and social media activity, whereas Lana will work closely with Katrina Cliffe, the firm’s Managing Director to improve several processes and enhance productivity across the business. A further senior recruit is in the pipeline to join the team in the new year.
