IGF appoints Adam Bradbury as ABL Business Development Director to support growth in the North

Adam Bradbury, appointed as ABL Business Development Director at IGF

Independent Growth Finance (IGF), a leading independent commercial finance provider, has appointed Adam Bradbury as ABL Business Development Director. Adam joins IGF after two years at BNP Paribas Commercial Finance, as Business Development Manager.

With the COVID-19 crisis presenting a significant challenge for many UK SMEs, Adam joins the business to support IGF’s growth in the North of England, with a specific focus in Manchester. He will be working alongside commercial director Matthew Shepherd and the northern sales team to provide flexible and innovative financing solutions to companies within the region.

Adam has 10 years’ experience working in commercial finance including two years at MC Vanguard in Liverpool, and five years at HSBC in Manchester. Adam specialises in finding flexible funding solutions for clients. Focusing on asset based lending for events such as MBO, MBI, fund raises, acquisition and growth.

Adam said: “Over the years I’ve seen advisors start to flock to the North. There is truly some fantastic businesses up in the North, specifically in the Manchester region. There is a focus on investment in the tech and manufacturing industries, which IGF is keen to tap into more. Now is the time for dynamic lenders like IGF who can move quickly and work with integral SMEs, making sure they come out strong on the other end of these uncertain times.”


Matthew Shepherd, commercial director at IGF, added: “Uniquely, Adam brings perspective from two different worlds. Having experience on both sides of transactions, he can truly work with all parties to ensure everyone is able to meet their business goals.”

IGF have increased provided facilities valuing £283m to clients in the past year, an increase of nearly 50% on the previous financial year. The company works with businesses with a turnover of £1 million to £100 million with finance provided predominantly on a secured basis against receivables, inventory, plant & machinery and property. 39% increase in funds in use their facilities out to provided been supporting UK businesses since 1997.
