Inciner8 celebrating Export win at Chamber awards

Global waste management specialist, Inciner8, is celebrating after being announced Export Company of the Year at the Liverpool Chamber Business Awards.

It comes during a flurry of award shortlists, as Inciner8 has also been announced as a finalist in the Company of the Year and Excellence & Innovation of the Year categories at the Insider North West International Trade Awards.

A manufacturer of market-leading clean air incinerators, Inciner8 was recognised at the Liverpool Chamber Business Awards for its global scale and success, having exported to more than 170 countries in 2018/19, which contributed to record-breaking sales and turnover growth of 15% to £7million. c.£6.7million of this came from overseas markets.

In the last 12 months, it installed 26 medical incinerators on a group of South Pacific islands, including Fiji and Solomon, and has leveraged itself as a strategic partner for the Chinese Government in the construction of 300 waste-to-energy plants.

In 2020, it aims to export to all 195 countries across the world and strengthen its reputation and footprint across its core medical, animal and general waste markets, by continuing to work in partnership with its clients to develop bespoke waste management solutions that reach every corner of the globe and meet specialist needs and demands.

Alex Billingsley, marketing manager at Inciner8, said: “To be recognised by an established organisation like Liverpool Chamber as a company which contributes to the exporting prowess of the region is a landmark occasion for us.

“We’ve developed a range of market-leading incinerators that remain at the forefront of British manufacturing, and which are designed to meet international challenges and regulations head-on. Doing so has meant we have become one of the most respected names in global waste management solutions, with a diverse international client portfolio who trust us implicitly.

“We’d like to issue a huge congratulations to all of the night’s winners and finalists, while we as a business look forward to what the next few weeks will bring.”

A spokesperson from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, said: “This was an excellent, comprehensive award entry with the company demonstrating a commitment to further expanding their international business which operates on a truly global scale, whilst continuing to benefit the City Region as a successful local employer.

“Inciner8 is a world leader in its field and is playing a vital role for communities across the world at the same time as investing in the business and its employees, with a new customer service focus now driving more international business.”

Inciner8 – which is a triple Queen’s Award for Enterprise holder, being recognised for both its International Trade and Innovation success – will find out if it has taken the title of Company and Excellence & Innovation of the Year at the Insider North West International Trade Awards on 5th December 2019.
