The second Impact & Exchange exhibition of the year saw pioneering North East businesses gather to showcase their expertise, network and make valuable connections.
Following the success of its first exhibition in May, more than 45 exhibitors participated and over 150 visitors attended the event, which took place at Sedgefield Racecourse on October 4th.
Created to inspire and bring together innovative firms from across the region, the unique exhibition provided companies with a valuable opportunity to raise their profile within the North East entrepreneurial community.
Hosted by Enterprise Made Simple, which has offices in Middlesbrough and Sunderland, the event gave visitors and exhibitors the chance to gather insightful information to encourage business development through its training sessions. Delivered by guest trainers, Jessica Williams, managing director of Just Williams, James Lane, training director of Hypestar, and Joshua Riffe, chief fun officer of FUNancial Services, they covered social media, business and sales advice.
Enterprise Made Simple Director, Andrea Clarke, said: “There was a fantastic variety of visitors and exhibitors at the event, which has resulted in people meeting who wouldn’t normally; exactly what we wanted.
“Both exhibitors and visitors were able to have quality conversations and not feel rushed, due to the steady flow of guests throughout the day.
“Both of this year’s events have been great successes and we’ve already got a waiting list of companies which are keen to sign up to exhibit at the next Impact & Exchange, which is fantastic.”
The remaining months of 2018 are set to be jam-packed for Enterprise Made Simple as the firm has joined forces with digital training provider, Hypestar, and is in the process of establishing a new programme, EMS Fellowship, which is focused on business growth and developing digital skills. More information will be announced later in the year.
The next Impact & Exchange exhibition will take place in 2019.
