Just Williams to recruit two new team members as they launch a new sales programme

L-R Jessica Willams of Just Williams and Chloe Clover of Wander Films

Whether providing a product or service, business is ultimately about selling something. Jessica Williams from Stockton based sales specialist Just Williams has spent the past four years encouraging businesses to talk more openly about sales, embrace the process and expect results.

Dedicated to professionalising the sales industry she is using her experience to introduce a brand-new sales solution to support businesses from start up stage.

Whether providing a service or a product, all businesses have to sell efficiently in order to trade, yet sales is something many people shy away from. When setting up a business, people do so with a skill for what they will offer as an organisation yet have had little or no training in how to sell effectively.

Jessica said: “Many businesses simply don’t have the internal resource to provide a dedicated sales role within the organisation and we have seen huge success from providing an outsourced sales solution throughout the region. However, we have also recognised there are smaller businesses whereby this role is the responsibility of the business owner and they are asking for support. Our Sustainable Sales course provides a solution and allows an opportunity for those individuals to upskill.”

The six-week programme, aimed at businesses with less than ten staff, will leave attendees with the toolkit and skills they need to develop a 12-month sales strategy which they can take back into their business. NBSL funding is available for the course and delegates can receive up to 40% funding for the programme. The first cohort will commence on 21st January and business owners are encouraged to contact Just Williams to find out how they can benefit from taking part.

The programme is already gaining interest and will see Just Williams recruit two new members of staff to support with the delivery. Chloe Clover from Wander Films is one of the many individuals who welcome the programme and have signed up to the first cohort.

She explained: “When Lou and I set up Wander Films it was to deliver our core skill of producing awesome video content, we probably didn’t consider some of the other roles that come with running a business. In particular, as a small business owner, you naturally become a salesperson. It’s epic to meet all the people we do and really cool to have the opportunity to talk about the business, but these are skills we haven’t been taught and feel we can benefit from refining our process. The Sustainable Sales programme provided by Just Williams will help us have a strategy and understand how we can get more from this activity. We are stoked to be involved!”
