jwc sews up deal with Curtain Express, Montgomery and Tru Living

jwc has added Ena Shaw to its roster of clients

Specialist homes and interiors marketing agency, jwc, has added the UK’s largest soft furnishing manufacturer Ena Shaw to its client roster.

The award-winning agency, which is based in Altrincham, has won the brief to handle consumer and trade press for three Ena Shaw brands – Montgomery, Curtain Express and the launch of a new brand: tru living.

John Warburton, jwc’s Managing Director, said: “We are really excited to be working Ena Shaw, which has been part of the north west manufacturing scene for decades. The firm has a rich history but an even more exciting future and we cannot wait to start shouting about them.

“They are also a big supporter of the British high street, championing independent stockists wherever they can, which is something we want to reflect in their campaigns.”

Jwc will work hand in hand with Ena Shaw’s in-house digital team, based at the company’s 85,000 square foot manufacturing premises in St Helens.

Ena Shaw was founded in 1932 by Ena Shaw, a machinist with huge ambition. It is still very much a family business, led by Ena Shaw’s grandson Richard Potter.

Manging Director Richard Potter, said: “We wanted to bring in a PR agency with strong links in the homes and interiors sector, and jwc fit the bill perfectly. John and Sam’s ethos is very similar to our own and it was clear from our first meeting they shared our goals.”
