Staff at Kinaxia Logistics have brought festive cheer to hundreds of youngsters by supporting the Hits Radio Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Appeal.

Kinaxia employees donated more than 600 toys and gifts and over £700 to the appeal.
Items were brought from Kinaxia sites around the country to the Trafford Park headquarters of group company AKW Global Logistics, then delivered to the Mission Christmas warehouse in Hazel Grove, Stockport.

Then more than 40 staff volunteered over two days at the Mission Christmas warehouse to pick and pack gifts ready for sending out to disadvantaged children.

The army of Kinaxia volunteers included chief executive Simon Hobbs, sales and marketing director Vanessa Hope, recruitment and compliance director Mark Stevenson and operations director Alistair Wood.

Simon said: “We are proud to have supported the Mission Christmas Appeal by donating toys, gifts and cash and by volunteering to help bring some festive joy to children around the country.

“As a business we are committed to giving back to our local communities, and the response from our colleagues across the country was tremendous.

“They showed great enthusiasm to support this fantastic cause in different ways, and we are thrilled that their efforts will make a huge difference to many children at Christmas.”
