The Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, the organisation behind the annual Kirklees Business Conference, has announced the exciting workshop line-up for this year’s event on Wednesday 13th March.
The morning workshop will be led by David Abbot, an international speaker and experienced marketer, having held senior positions in a wide range of industries. The workshop is named “The Psychology of Pricing” and will detail how to influence customers and clients to buy or use services. The workshop will provide simple ideas that can be applied to business immediately.
The afternoon workshop will be led by Katrina Cliffe, founder and Managing Director of Lindley-based KC Communications. Titled “The Power of PR,” Katrina will demonstrate how businesses can harness the power of PR to support winning new business.
Both workshops look to provide insight and information that can be immediately applicable to businesses to assist in their growth efforts.
This year, the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce will be supporting a local charity through raising funds by charging £5 per ticket for the workshops. Tickets are available via the Kirklees Business Conference website. The chosen charity will be announced shortly.
Rory Bourke, Events and Sponsorship Coordinator at the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce commented: “We are delighted to have secured David and Katrina for KBC 2019 workshop programme, their experience and specific knowledge will be of great value to local businesses.”
