A new digital healthcare start-up has made a great start since launching in January this year by picking up its first award. Co-founder of Ecovery, Anthony Burns, won the Corporate Livewire Yorkshire Prestige Clinician of the Year Award on behalf of his work with the Leeds-based business.
Ant explains “this is really good news and just gives us further confidence that our innovative new solution is solving a previously unmet need. We’ve worked really hard behind the scenes to launch our service because we are determined to help try and solve the complex problems that face patients when they access the private healthcare market.
We are just at the beginning of the journey to help provide patients with a free, simple, impartial service and we are excited that by combining smart technology and excellent clinicians and a large clinically curated database we are starting to help many people who may previously have been misdiagnosed or not seen the right clinician first time or have had to waste countless hours trawling the internet to find a consultant, specialist or physiotherapist for an injury or issue that had yet to be diagnosed”.
