Leeds Move Leads to Growth for PR Agency

Cream, a multi award winning PR and communications agency, is celebrating a period of growth which includes a range of client wins, new staff and internal promotion following its relocation to Leeds City Centre.

Since the move from Barnsley to Leeds in June, Cream has secured a quartet of client wins. This includes Wellspring Academy Trust, a multi-academy trust with 15 academies under its umbrella and five new-build schools in development.

Cream was appointed by Wellspring Academy Trust to provide high quality PR, strategy and consultancy work as it prepares to launch a new Leeds primary school as well as supporting the launch of MindSpace – an innovate new scheme which sees mental health practitioners embedded in all secondary schools in the Barnsley borough.

Cream will also be working with Pain Care Clinic providing PR support on a book launch, building the brand of Yorkshire based training provider, Quarterdeck and assisting Yorkshire’s premier tipi provider, Totally Tipi with the brand’s positioning through PR, social media and event management.

Following the client wins, Cream recruited recent University of Leeds graduate Joseph Scott. After impressing during his summer internship, Joseph was offered a full-time position as account executive.

Jane Whitham, director and co-founder of Cream said: “The relocation to Leeds was the first step in Cream’s expansion plans and it’s always great as a business owner to see plans come to fruition!

“Being able to tap into the fantastic, growing business community means Cream has been able to enjoy great success on the back of our move. The young, ambitious talent pool provided by the City’s top universities and colleges means we can recruit the best as Cream continues to grow.”

The team is currently working on projects for clients across a range of sectors including luxury retail, manufacturing, education and IT.

Clients include Sheffield manufacturer, PCT, Yorkshire’s fastest growing tech company Azzure IT and global travel management company Redfern, part of the global travel company CTM Group.
