Leeds Rhinos star to headline mental health awareness event

A Yorkshire-based mental strength training school is hosting a national tour across nine major cities with the aim to de-stigmatise mental health issues at work.

Launching at Irwin Mitchell in Leeds on March 20, with day two to be held at Lupton Fawcett on March 21, the Chakra Corporate Mental Strength for the Nation tour will provide businesses with the knowledge and capability to overview their wellbeing policies, and understand mental health in the workplace.

Leeds Rhinos star and mental health awareness ambassador, Stevie Ward, will appear at both of the Leeds launch events, sharing his own personal experience of depression and anxiety.

Stevie now proudly directs Mantality Magazine, which encourages positive mental health for men through expanding comfort zones and inspiring men to live a more comprehensive version of themselves.

With a wealth of experience, having recently spoken at a key mental health awareness event in front of Prince Harry, Stevie utilises his platform to inspire young men to speak out about mental health issues.

The two-day Leeds launch event welcomes HR professionals and business leaders to hear from a variety guest speakers including wellbeing and legal experts, as well as receiving a full delegate pack and the opportunity take part in a self-case session at the end of each day.

Founded in 2016 by Leeds-based psychotherapist, Zainah Khan, Chakra Corporate is a mental strength training school which aims to remove the stigma from mental health issues at work and increase resilience to stress.

The Chakra Corporate Mental Strength for the Nation tour will provide a unique insight into mental health in various workplaces, and how key individuals death with these.
