Leeds technology firm appoints new member of staff

KwizzBit

A Leeds-based technology company, specialising in interactive digital entertainment, has added a new member of staff to its growing team.

Julien Vivancos joins KwizzBit this month as part of a placement year, whilst studying for a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing at the University of Clermont Ferrand in France.

Julien will undertake the role of administrative and marketing assistant and will support the team in managing a number of key accounts, whilst sourcing new opportunities for the firm.

Founded in 2016 by serial entrepreneur, Mark Wash, KwizzBit is an innovative, web-based gaming platform, combining the traditional format of pub quiz entertainment with the excitement of interactive digital media.

Mark established KwizzBit in partnership with pub quiz guru Steve Saul and technology expert John Sheard in 2016. The three successful entrepreneurs, with more than 60 combined years’ experience in the pub industry, aim to revive the Great British pub industry and eventually take a variety of other sectors by storm.

Commenting on Julien’s appointment, managing director Mark Walsh said:
“We’re thrilled to welcome Julien to KwizzBit. His skills in marketing will be invaluable to the team and provide our sales and marketing manager with the vital support he needs to drive the business forward. I’m very much looking forward to being able to contribute to Julien’s personal development and help him to put the theory he has learnt at university into practice.”

Julien added:

“I am excited to learn new skills at KwizzBit; I’m particularly interested to learn more about the technology side of the business which is something that is quite new to me. I have a passion for business and marketing and I believe that working closely with the team at KwizzBit will allow me to gain really useful industry insight that will help me to excel in my studies.”

KwizzBit has plans to grow the team by 200% over the next twelve months, hiring an additional six members of staff.
