Independent Liverpool estate agency Bluerow Homes has pipped the competition at the post to be the first in the UK to sign up to a new online service that compliments its existing business offering.
Love2move is a new online estate agency brand which allows local high street estate agents to offer fixed price online property sales of £895. Launched on Valentine’s Day to fill a void in the marketplace, love2move is ready to be launched by four other estate agency businesses in the North West, but Bluerow Homes has claimed another first for Liverpool.
The concept sits alongside the traditional agent’s existing offering, but is aimed at a different market, using an internet platform that can be accessed from anywhere in the world. The dating agency style of the website combines the functions of Rightmove and Tinder, adopting the Tinder methodology of swipe and select so buyers can view potential houses easily and quickly by opening the love2move website on a phone or tablet, browsing properties and swiping the ones that match their requirements. They can then communicate directly with the seller through an instant online Chat function.
Bluerow’s Director Helen Griffin-Booth said: “As soon as I heard about the love2move concept I knew it would ideally complement our existing service. For most people their home is their largest and most important asses and the vast majority of them value the support of a traditional estate agency which has expertise and knowledge of the local marketplace.
“However, others are attracted to the idea of saving money by selling their home via the internet and we recognise that love2move provides us with an opportunity to appeal to this very different area of the market without having to develop our own internet portal.
“The fact that love2move has been developed by another traditional estate agent with like-minded values means that we can open our business up to another area of the market without eroding our traditional sales. The sales leads generated via love2move can only enhance our business and we’re really excited about this opportunity.”
Based in Duke Street, Bluerow Homes are members of ARLA and NAEA Propertymark. The company offers a full sales, letting and property management service throughout the city centre and surrounding area.
