Female business leaders around Yorkshire have been invited to attend a motivational speech, at Livius Training Centre, to mark International Women’s Day 2019.
The event will run in the afternoon of Friday 8th March at Livius Training Centre based just south of Boroughbridge on Rabbit Hill Business Park.
International Women’s Day, celebrated on the 8th March each year, is a global day aimed at recognising the achievements of women and calls for gender equality. This year, the theme is ‘Balance for Better’ helping to build a more gender balanced world.
Renowned motivational speaker, Jenny Flintoft, is set to inspire at the women-only event with her talk on ‘The Power of Being Uniquely You, which hope to encourage attendees to identify behaviours that could be affecting their own success.
Following on from her position as Disney’s European training manager, Jenny is now in her second decade of designing and delivering speeches, events and workshops to thousands of people across the globe.
Jenny told us “I’m extremely passionate about supporting women in business, leadership and work to be the best they can be.”
She added, “Only when that happens do we encourage others to do the same and one by one, we create a network of thriving women who make a difference in their own right”
The event has been coordinated by Allison Wells, who has been director of Livius Training for over 13 years. She remarked, “This gives women leaders the chance to connect with each other, celebrate our achievements and become inspired to stay true to ourselves.”
