Local home builder Barratt Developments Yorkshire West is helping the town of Waverley get into the festive spirit this holiday season by donating a Christmas tree and decorations to be displayed in the community garden on Lescar Road.

The home builder has purchased a Christmas tree to be placed in the community garden in Waverley, close to its Momentum development. Barratt has also donated a £260 voucher to Waverley Buds to fund decorations that will transform the community garden into a winter wonderland.

The garden, which is managed by Waverley Buds, was partly funded by Barratt Developments Yorkshire West and offers a space for the community to engage with local nature.

On the community donation, Martin Humphries at Waverley Buds said: “We are really grateful for Barratt’s ongoing support of our community garden. This festive donation will bring a real Christmassy feel to the local area, and we hope that residents of Waverley and surrounding areas will visit the community garden to see the tree in all its glory.”

Gemma Rosindale, Sales Manager at Barratt Homes Yorkshire West’s Momentum development added: “We are delighted to have been able to support Waverley Buds and the community garden once again with this seasonal donation. The tree looks fantastic, we hope it brings some festive joy to the local area and wish everyone in Waverley a very Merry Christmas.”
